Lost John’s Cave: Denis, Patrick (14th August 2016).
Down Cathedral and out Centipede. It is a decade since I have caved with Patrick and we had lots to talk about including my first trip down there with CPC. Patrick was co-leader.
On our way down Patrick rigged a traverse line which was missing. Lower pitches wet. On way out I was told to hurry up over Battle Axe so as not to be stuck waiting as a party was due down.
The trip took just over two hours. Next party met at entrance with cast of thousands.
Patrick headed back for Skipton, myself to Pendle for a swim.
