1) take carpenters B&Q steel rule. 2) measure out rope. 3) knot rope each metre for cave streamway length measurement. 4) make sure overhand knots are secure and do not disappear in tension !!… 5) make sure both surveyors have adequate eye-sight without spectacles to read surveying compass and clinometer underground.
